YATAI SUSHI: GOOD SUSHI AND HALF PRICE DRINKS

This time I took my 1000 yen to a specialized sushi izakaya five minutes walking from the hostel. The sign of drinks at half price from 4 to 7 pm hanging outside was determinative to give the place a chance.

This place is more focused on going accompanied, as though there is a bar with three stools for loners, the arrangement does not favor local interaction. Anyway it is a nice place with points in its favor that make it worth a visit.

The first of these points, as I mentioned, is its unbeatable happy hour. Unlike other places that also make discount on drinks, all are included here, even beer and sake, which is an irresistible temptation. Therefore, for about 250 yen you can drink a beer, a Highball or a glass of sake.

The price of food is the usual in places like that, with the piece of sushi ranging from 60 to 300 yen depending on the type of fish. Faithful to my experiment, I tried not to overdo 100 yen per piece. I ordered a crab salad roll and onigiris of hamachi, tuna, squid, salmon and squid in tempura, which was the only one who surpassed 100 yen. As might be expected of a focused sushi bar, this was very tasty.

For drink, I started with a beer to finish with a special highball made with whiskey, soda and beer, something I had not tried before and was pleasantly surprised. You have to keep about 237 yen for the tsukidashi (that little dish that we didn't ask for but is served in mostly of izakaya)

Overall, a good place to go, especially between 4 and 7. Later prices return to their normal shape and the place would exceed our budget. However it is a great alternative to go in a group at any time.
