Heijou-kyou palace is the closest world heritage site from the hostel.
Futaiji Temple, Uwanabe tomb/Konabe tomb, Hokkeji Temple are all 10 to 15 minutes walking distance.




Heijo Palace site
The remain of the first capital of Japan.
Suzakumon Gate, Daigokuden Hall, To-Intei Garden, and history museum are the main atractions in Heijou Palace site. All free entrace. (History museum only for foreign passport holders)

Yoshikien Garden
Located in the Nara Park area, close to Todaiji Temple, this beautiful garden is the ideal place for relaxing besides its small streams, pounds and traditional wooden houses.
It is free for foreigners, so don't forget your passport!

There is also nice riverside pavement where we can enjoy cherry blossoms in April,
Autumn colour in November.
