In an alley that starts from the Mochiidono shopping arcade, it is this almost three years old little cafe. "Saburoku" is at the end of the street, so it is a good hiding place in which to rest of savoring an exquisite coffee made "by hand" in a relaxed atmosphere. Its dimensions only allow to have a couple of tables and a small bar with two stools, but in the days of good weather you can enjoy the drink at the tables outside the door, while looking at passers in and out of the shops.
Motoi-san, apart welcomed you with great kindness, prepare coffee in a traditional way, that is said, by passing the water through the coffee filter, slowly, without haste. The result is magnificent. The coffee blend is the most popular drink, but for those not too enthusiastic about coffee, there are also many other beverages such as various types of tea or sweet milk drinks. A particular recommendation is the matcha-latte (green tea with milk)
To find the coffee shop, once you pass the O'Kest supermarket, look for this sign pointing to the gallery on the right.
The cafe is in the center, a few minutes from the main street Sanjo-dori and on the way to the Naramachi neighborhood. In addition, our hostel's guests have a very interesting discount on all drinks. Someone need more reasons to go?
