DELICIOUS UDON IN "KAEDE"

We had lunch yerterday in "Kaede", a restaurant specialized in udon next to the hostel. You can choose from several menus or opt for the classic bowl of udon. The noodles are prepared handmade by the owner Nishimoto-san.

Kousuke-san and I ordered the Tonjiru set, while Akiko-chan preferred to try the Kaede udon.

At night the place becomes izakaya, as shown by the menus on the wall announcing fried chicken, sashimi, edamame and other typical dishes of the Japanese bars. There are also live performances, such as the jazz duo you can see in the pictures above (They play the day after Christmas)

Definitely a great place to recommend for both lunch and a few drinks once the sun has set.

In his facebook profile (just type Kaede) you will find schedules and other information.

Nishimoto-san, Akiko-chan and Kousuke-san
